MAIN COMPRESSOR COMPONENTS

Housing

  • Operating Pressure: 28 bar
  • Optimized suction path design, which ensures low hydraulic resistance at the suction side and effective motor cooling; with the gas flow passing directly through the center, allowing for reduced overall losses and throttling losses in the discharge line, as well as lower energy consumption.
  • Compact design with integrated filter, check valve, and temperature sensor.

Motor

  • Starting with part-winding connection or star-delta (Y-Δ) configuration allows for minimizing starting currents and reducing energy consumption during operation.
  • Motors can be supplied for different operating voltages and frequencies to meet various power grid parameters.
  • For operation with various refrigerants, such as R22, R407C, R134A, R507, R290, specially selected materials are used.
  • Thanks to a specially developed layout, effective motor cooling is achieved by diverting gaseous refrigerant from the suction shut-off valve to the suction side of the piston.

Bearings

  • By employing a combination of plain (sleeve) and thrust bearings, axial/radial wear and crankshaft overload are prevented. These bearings are characterized by high precision, wear resistance, and low noise levels.
  • The plain bearing shells are manufactured with high precision, offer significant wear resistance, ensure excellent lubrication, and have a designed service life of 50,000-80,000 hours.

Motor Protection

  • To protect the motor from excessively high temperature, reverse rotation, and phase loss, INT66 and INT69B2 protection modules are provided.
  • Six PTC thermistors are installed to protect the motor windings from burnout due to high temperature.
  • Working parameters of the system are monitored, providing real-time data on the status of the motor and the system.

Shut-off Valve

  • For some models of shut-off valves, designed for installation on both the suction and discharge lines, a 360° rotation capability is provided. These shut-off valves feature compact dimensions, are simple to install, and easily adjustable.

Crankshaft Mechanism and Pistons

  • Thanks to the Braizer company’s developed design of the crankshaft with balanced blocks, stable operation, minimal vibration, and effective lubrication are ensured.
  • High efficiency and durability, minimal vibration and air pulsations, low noise levels. Leveraging new technologies, these compressors hold leading positions among similar equipment presented on the global market.
  • The design is optimized to enhance compression efficiency. This compressor can be effectively used in medium and low-temperature conditions.
  • The connecting rod and piston are joined by a piston pin, which is equipped with a bush for extended service life.

Suction Filter

  • An integrated suction filter with high-density filter elements is designed to remove contaminant particles from the gaseous refrigerant and protect the motor.
  • The filter is located externally to the compressor housing on the suction side, features compact dimensions, and allows for easy replacement of filter elements.

Safety Valve

  • A safety valve is installed in the line connecting the high-pressure side and the low-pressure side, ensuring that the internal pressure does not exceed a safe limit.
  • It features excellent technical design characteristics, reliable sealing, precise actuation, full and timely opening, stable discharge, and timely closing, thus ensuring safety and reliability.

Capacity Control

  • Capacity modulation is available down to 50% for 4-cylinder units, and 33% and 66% for 6-cylinder units, which largely covers the system’s capacity regulation needs.
  • For some models of shut-off valves, designed for installation on both the suction and discharge lines, a 360° rotation capability is provided. These shut-off valves feature compact dimensions, are simple to install, and easily adjustable.
